Ancient Hebron Glass Necklace

Hebron green glass beads from the 19th century are combined with rare Yemen silver, and recycled glass beads to make a raw and organic looking necklace. Named after Hebron, a Palestinian city near Jerusalem, the beads were originally made using local sand, iron oxide and copper for color and salt from the Dead Sea. Closed with a silver toggle clasp.

Recycled glass beads are made in Ghana from glass bottles which are collected, crushed and reheated to make a bead.
